1. Handling of Personal Information
Oiles Corporation ("Oiles") has established the following Privacy Policy to endeavor as an organization to ensure the proper handling of personal information in accordance with the stipulations of the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" ("the Act").
2. Compliance with Related Laws, Regulations, and Guidelines, etc.
Oiles shall properly handle personal information in compliance with the Act and other laws and regulations, as well as the "Guidelines on the Act on the Protection of Personal Information" and other guidelines.
3. Purpose of Use
Oiles shall use the personal information it holds for the following purposes only.

4. Safety Management Measures
Oiles shall separately establish the "Rules for the Handling of Personal Information" and comply with their stipulations, in order to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of personal data, and to otherwise manage personal data properly.
5. Handling of Entrustment
At times, Oiles entrusts the handling of personal information, etc., to a third party. In such cases, Oiles shall conduct the necessary and proper oversight of the business to which we have entrusted the work, in accordance with the stipulations of the Act.
6. Joint Use of Personal Information
At times, Oiles engages with Oiles Group companies in joint use of personal information related to "Customers and other business partners and related parties," "Inquiries regarding product information," and "Information on Oiles employees, etc." indicated in "3. Purpose of Use" above, as follows.

Name, company name, address, postal code, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address etc.
(2) Scope of joint users
Oiles and its subsidiaries and affiliate companies

Same as the purpose of use indicated in "Customers and other business partners and related parties," "Inquiries regarding product information," and "Information on Oiles employees, etc." in "3. Purpose of Use" above.

7. Provision or Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
Oiles does not provide or disclose personal information it has received to third parties, except in the following cases.
- Cases in which the principal’s consent has been obtained
- Cases in which work has been outsourced within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
- Cases in which there is a need to protect human life, physical health, or property, and in which it is difficult to obtain the principal’s consent
- Cases in which it is particularly necessary to promote public health or the wholesome development of children, and in which it is difficult to obtain the principal’s consent
- Cases in which there is a need to cooperate in regard to the national government or a local government, etc., performing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and in which there is a possibility that obtaining the principal’s consent would interfere with the performance of said affairs
- Cases in which the information is provided or disclosed to parties stipulated as shared users in 6. above
- Other cases in which provision or disclosure of the information is required by laws and regulations
When Oiles provides personal data to a third party in a foreign country, it shall implement necessary measures, such as obtaining the consent of the individual and providing information, in accordance with the stipulations of laws and regulations.
8. Disclosure of Retained Personal Data, etc.
In the event that Oiles receives a request from the individual or a representative of the individual for the disclosure of retained personal data, it shall respond promptly, except in the following cases.
- Cases in which there is a possibility of harming a principal or third party’s life, physical health, property, or other rights and interests
- Cases in which there is a possibility of interfering seriously with Oiles implementing its business properly
- Cases in which doing so would violate laws and regulations
In addition, Oiles shall investigate the matter and take necessary action in the event of a request to correct, add, or delete personal information due to incorrect contents, or a request to terminate use or delete personal information, or to cease provision to a third party, due to the information being handled in violation of laws and regulations.
